In order to participate in official Olivet High School fall sports practices, which begin August 7 or August 9 depending on the program, all student-athletes must submit a “Green Light” ticket to their respective coaches.
When OHS student-athletes receive a Green Light ticket, it verifies that they have valid physical and concussion documents on file in the athletic office, they are eligible to participate by Michigan High School Athletic Association standards, and they have no financial obligations within the OHS Athletic Department. Coaches will collect these tickets from prospective players prior to their first official practice.
The Green Light tickets may be picked up in the athletic office on Thursday, August 3 from 12:00-3:00 PM or Friday, August 4 from 9:00 AM-12:00 Noon. In addition, OHS athletic director Matt Seidl and administrative assistant Lauri Janousek will be available to issue tickets on Monday, August 7 at 7:30 AM prior to the first football practice and again at 6:30 PM before the Fall Sports Parent Meeting.
For more information, please contact Matt Seidl at 734-358-6136 (cell) or 269-749-9631 (office).
